The book report is due on Friday. Students are using the same book that they read for the literature fair. Format was discussed in class. Minimum of 300 words.
Sixth grade will be taking a field trip on 10/31 to the Summersville Public Library to allow the student to begin research on their language projects. We will be stopping for lunch. A permission slip will be sent home next week with additional information. Parents - please let me know if you can volunteer to help with the field trip.

Thanks so much to everyone for donating to the 6th grade basket. It looks great. Please take time to visit the Spring Fling on Friday and Saturday, 5/11 & 5/12, in the new gym. All of the baskets look awesome plus there will be several vendors and food available.
Mid-State Ford will be hosting a fundraiser for NLCA on Saturday, 4/29, from 9am to 5pm. Test drive a vehicle (no sales pitch) and a donation will be made to NLCA. We will also have hotdogs, bake sale, car wash, and special raffles. Please stop by and show your support.

Spring Fling Baskets
Items for the 6th Grade Spring Fling Basket are due on Friday, 4/28. Our theme is primitives/candles. This is a big fundraiser for our school. Your donations are GREATLY appreciated.
Drive to Support Your School
Mid-state Ford will be the site of our next fundraiser on Saturday, 4/29. Please come out to test drive a vehicle and our school receives a donation. No sales pitches!! We will also have baked goods, hotdogs, and baskets. If you would like to donate a baked good or come to help, please let the office know or contact me. Thank you for your support!!
Field Trip Permission Slips
Please return your permission slips for our field trip on Friday, 5/12, to Valley World of Fun. Slips have been distributed to the students but if you need another copy please let me know.
Achievement tests will be administered on 4/10-4/12 (Monday to Wednesday). All students need to attend. Please gets lots of rest. All students need to have #2 pencils, erasers, and a calculator. NO mechanical pencils ALLOWED!!!
The sixth grade Easter party will be on Thursday, 4/13. Food sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the room.
Mid State Fundraiser
Mid State will be hosting a NLCA fundraiser on April 29. Test drive a vehicle to support your school! There will also be a car wash, great food, and baskets. If you would like to donate your time or baked good, please let the office know or contact me.
Spring Fling Basket
Sixth grade will be putting together a basket to be auctioned at the Annual Spring Fling Craft and Vendor Sale on May 12 and 13. The theme for our class is "primitive/scents".
