Picture Day

Picture Day is scheduled for 8/30 (Wednesday).  Order forms were sent home with students today (Friday).  Individual photos may be ordered once proofs are sent home with the students.  If you wish to purchase the class photo, please complete the order form and return next week with payment.

Welcome Back!

The new term begins on Thursday, 8/17.  I hope everyone is rested and eager to start the new year.  Lunch menus are found under menus/forms tab located at the top of the NCLA home page. 

Open House

I would love to meet you at the Open House on Tuesday, 8/15, from 3pm to 5pm.  The students can find their desks and start bringing in their school supplies.

Hope you are having a great summer break! August will be here before we know it.  Below is the supply list for the start of school. 

Sixth Grade Supply List:
* Bible (King James)
* 2 Packs of loose leaf notebook paper
* 1 inch - 3 ring binder (must be able to fit into desk)
* Pens for classwork (Blue or Black only)
* Red pens for checking
* Pencils (You may use mechanical or regular)
* Compass
* Protractor
* Erasers
* Zippered pencil pouch
* Colored pencils for maps
* 1 Composition notebook
* 2 Boxes of tissues
* 1 Box band-aids
* Student planner and God's World News (The school will purchase these and parents will reimburse NLCA)

We will have an open house before school starts.  I will post additional information once the date and time are set.

Home Stretch

All corrected work must be turned in by Thursday, 5/11.  It is my goal to have all grades entered by the following Monday.  All extra credit work must be turned in by Thursday as well.  NO exceptions!

Spring Fling

Thanks so much to everyone for donating to the 6th grade basket.  It looks great.  Please take time to visit the Spring Fling on Friday and Saturday, 5/11 & 5/12, in the new gym.  All of the baskets look awesome plus there will be several vendors and food available. 

Drive 4UR School

Mid-State Ford will be hosting a fundraiser for NLCA on Saturday, 4/29, from 9am to 5pm.  Test drive a vehicle (no sales pitch) and a donation will be made to NLCA.  We will also have hotdogs, bake sale, car wash, and special raffles.  Please stop by and show your support. 

Spring Fling Basket

It's not too late to donate an item for the 6th grade spring fling basket.  Our theme is primitive/candles.  The baskets will be part of a silent auction at the annual Spring Fling craft and
vendor sale to be held on 5/11 and 5/12.  Your donations are greatly appreciated!!
